A-1 Self Storage, the premier provider of self storage in California, announced today their sponsorship of the “Once Upon A Time ROMP 2012” event presented by the RonaldMcDonald House Charities of San Diego to be held on October 13, 2012 at the Rancho Valencia in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. The 3rd Annual “ROMP” is RMHCSD’s signature gala, raising more than $350,000.00 in donations that directly benefit displaced families of children receiving medical treatment in San Diego.

The Mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of San Diego is to “provide a “home away from home” for families with children being treated for serious, often life threatening conditions at local hospitals.” The RMHCSD makes practical care available for thousands of families every year by offering fresh meals, a comfortable bed, laundry, and kitchen facilities. The purpose is to surround the families with as much support as possible so they may focus on the most important factor – being the primary caregiver to their seriously ill or injured child.
