All Canadian Self Storage owns and operates 5 facilities in the GTA and 1 in Brantford. They have announced that it will be partnering with Toronto Recycling to host a series of fundraising events in support of local area charities. The events will take place over several weekends in September at locations throughout the GTA and Brantford. Each event will feature large trailers and boxes in which to deposit discarded electronics, as well as raffle draws, contests and prizes. 100% of every dollar raised goes directly to the charity. Toronto Recycling will be pitching in money based on the weight of electronics brought in by patrons. Recycled electronics will be diverted away from local landfills, which are under extreme pressure due to population growth and the fevered pace of economic activity in the Toronto region. All Canadian Self Storage has long been involved with supporting service organizations and local community groups such as Opera Atelier. They hosted the Opera’ Costume Runway Sale Event in 2010, raising over $25000. They also provided Champagne and food for the event. For the past 7 years they have provided free storage to The Willow Breast Cancer Support Canada – a national not for profit organization that provides free information and support to anyone affected with breast cancer. All Canadian Self Storage also offers free storage to Military personal serving in combat zones. If you’d like to support All Canadian Self Storage in its charitable efforts, you can attend the events at the following times and locations: Brantford: September 8th, 9 AM – 3 PM 35 Dalkeith Drive Brantford, ON N3P 1M1 Electronics recycling event.
