Asia’s foremost industry body for the business of self storage will be hosting their first Self Storage Expo Asia 2015 in Tokyo, Japan from May 13-15. Global guests and speakers unite to share their extensive knowledge about today’s most lucrative alternative investment in the region most poised for opportunity and growth.
Topics are Asia focused taking into account what the industry has learned about self storage growth in other parts of the world and what obstacles countries in Asia may face. Special emphasis will be focused on The Future of Self Storage in Asia, a panel Jon Perrins – Executive Chairman of Steel Storage will be speaking on. “This Expo is positive for healthy and strong growth of the industry and community, helping both in tandem. There is a lot of green-field in Asia and there is no bigger event to get information, opportunity, and networking in one place than the Expo!”
Industry leaders and new entrants alike including Steel Storage, Cushman and Wakefield, StorHub, PTI, Store Friendly, CBRE, Quraz, Ernst & Young, IPSOS, Singapore Post, and many others will be in attendance.
Opportunity to learn and grow will be a big theme throughout the 3 days. “The numbers speak for themselves and yes, the industry is teeming with opportunity for suppliers and facility owners. While countries in Asia may not reach 7.8 sf/person of self storage like in the US, to double the size of the current industry in most Asian countries is perfectly plausible in the next 2-5 years.” SSAA’s Executive Director Luigi La Tona emphasizes.
The Self Storage Expo Asia will be held from May 13 – 15 in Tokyo, Japan. Information and tickets can be found at https://www.selfstorageexpo.asia.
