The Arizona Self Storage Association (AZSA) has teamed with the Chicago-based BSC Group to add Arizona’s inaugural Owners & Investors Summit to its annual trade show, which will be held April 11 – 13, 2016. Once again held at the Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino in Chandler, Ariz., the three-day event will be held one month earlier than usual. Special thanks to our Title Sponsor, Deans & Homer, and Promotional Sponsor, Mini-Storage Messenger. Sponsored by The BSC Group, the Owners & Investors Summit will be held on April 12th to provide current owners, investors, and other business professionals interested in entering the self-storage market—particularly in the western part of the United States—with the most up-to-date information available about the industry. Summit speakers will focus on how owners and investors can maximize benefits through new approaches made possible by the current state of the industry. Topics will include the confluence of strong market fundamentals, creative financing, exit strategies, and how new developments in technology can allow operators to better compete with the REITs. Scheduled speakers include Shawn Hill of The BSC Group; Arlan Nordhagen of National Self Storage Affiliates; James Hafen of Yardi; David Tracey of BNC Bank; John Good of Jernigan Capital; and Chris Pilat of Citibank. In addition, a very special guest speaker will be announced in January. The Summit will culminate with AZSA’s 20th Anniversary Reception, which will be held on the trade show floor. The 18th Annual Arizona Conference and Trade Show will be held on April 13th in conjunction with the Owners & Investors Summit. Speakers include Guy Middlebrooks of CubeSmart; Gary Sugarman of StorQuest; Mel Holsinger of Professional Self Storage Management; and Tim Dietz, President and CEO of the Self Storage Association. A special keynote speaker, sure to inspire and challenge all attendees, will also be announced in January. On Monday, April 11th, attendees can participate in the AZSA Annual Golf Tournament sponsored by Broken Arrow Roofing. This year, each foursome will include a professional golfer from the Gateway Tour, which helps up and coming golf pros win a spot on the PGA Tour. With a number of the 18 foursomes already sold, AZSA encourages members to purchase their foursomes quickly before they are sold out. The trade show floor will be open on April 12th and 13th with approximately 70 vendors exhibiting a full range of the latest and most innovative products and services available to the industry. AZSA would like to thank its Conference Title Sponsor, Deans & Homer; Promotional Sponsor, Mini-Storage Messenger; Major Sponsors Baja Construction, MiniCo Insurance, and U-Haul; and Golf Title Sponsor Broken Arrow Roofing. For details on attending, exhibiting, and sponsoring the trade show, go to the AZSA website, www.azselfstorage.org, or contact AZSA Executive Director Anne Mari DeCoster at azsa@azselfstorage.org or 602-374-7184. ]]>
