All-New Design and Several Feature Enhancements Made To Our Model 500 Roll-Up Door
BETCO INC., your trusted partner in self-storage design, manufacturing, and building construction since 1984, is excited to announce design and manufacturing enhancements to the Model 500 Roll-up Door. The redesign of the model 500 door was made with you, our customer, in mind, and will provide an array of additional standard and premium color options, shorten manufacturing and installation lead times, achieves ADA compliance for self-storage roll-up doors, and improves the overall quality while extending the expected lifespan of the doors.
Our new Model 500 door incorporates the industry leading 3rd generation roll-up door dead axle design with an enclosed torque tube assembly. The dead axle design provides a smoother operation compared to our previous designs, and the enclosed tube protects the door spring while simultaneously strengthening the door’s axle. Together, these features eliminate axle shift and allow one-spring adjustments with dual spring impact—a huge time saver during installation.
Every new Model 500 door now comes standard with galvanized reinforced 12 gauge mounting brackets that are designed to easily bolt onto the guides, which provides yet another installation time saver.
Premium features of the current BETCO Model 500 door such as a Ratcheting Tension device, shielded radial ball bearings, Stainless Steel double hasp latch (factory-installed) and a 26-gauge door curtain with a 40 year film integrity warranty, will continue to be standard features of the Model 500 Roll-up door.
