Gallacher Development received zoning approval for a 4 acre parcel in Fishers, IN and closed on the purchase of this tract of land in late January of 2016. Gallacher Development in conjunction with their partner, Self Storage Ventures, will build a new state of the art self-storage facility located at 10415 Allisonville Road in the Indianapolis suburb of Fishers. The facility will include a two-story building encompassing approximately 40,000 rentable square feet of climate-controlled storage with three additional single-story buildings encompassing over 35,000 rentable square feet of traditional drive-up, non-climate-controlled units.

“We’re very excited about this project and look forward to further developments in this market,” said Kelly Gallacher, partner with Gallacher Development and Self Storage Ventures. The new store is located on a well known retail street in a highly populated neighborhood with close proximity to commercial and retail areas. “With IKEA moving into the town of Fishers only a couple of miles from the site and with the redevelopment of approximately 200 acres of the regional airport located behind the facility, we are uniquely situated to be the premier self-storage facility in the Fishers market”, stated Mr. Gallacher. “The project was very well received by the Mayor, the City Council and their staff receiving a unanimous approval.” The facility will have approximately 850 units and is scheduled to open in the spring of 2017.
