York, PA – June 18, 2015 Investment Real Estate Construction, LLC (IREC) announces the completion of an expansion at Global Self Storage in Sadsbury, PA this spring. Global Self Storage is located in Chester County, PA, off Route 30 near the Chester County Airport. The project began in summer 2014 with the construction of a new 55’ x 215’ two-story building, consisting solely of temperature controlled storage units. The building boasts a decorative facade with the combination of brick and stucco. An elevator and two stair towers were also included in the scope of work. This new building added 23,650 sq ft of storage to the existing facility.

Global Self Storage offers drive up and temperature control storage from 5×5 through 10×30, as well as outdoor parking spaces up to 40’, and provides 24 hour access to tenants through an electronic gate. The facility remained open during the expansion project. IREC persevered and completed the project as scheduled through a harsh winter that included significant snowfall and extreme temperature swings, which created a multitude of challenges for exterior work.
