FORT WORTH, TEXAS, June 10, 2015 – Marcus & Millichap (NYSE: MMI), a leading commercial real estate investment services firm with offices throughout the United States and Canada, today announced the sale of All Star Self-Storage, a 72,775-square foot self-storage facility located in Fort Worth, Texas, according to Hernando Perez, Sales Manager of the firm’s Fort Worth office.

Brandon Karr, Vice President Investments in Marcus & Millichap’s Fort Worth office, had the exclusive listing to market the property on behalf of the seller, a private investor.  The buyer, a private investor, was also secured by Mr. Karr.

All Star Self-Storage is located at 7400 North Blue Mound Road in Fort Worth, Texas. The facility resting on two parcels totaling 4.95 acres. The property, which was built in 2008, consists of eight single story buildings, and one two story management office and residence. The property is constructed of brick veneers, standing seam metal roofs, slab-on-grade concrete foundations, steel framing, metal walls and garage-style roll up doors.

The property benefits from the foot traffic that its United States Postal Service Center provides, along with ample truck rental business provided by U-HAUL. The property also features perimeter fencing and lighting, wide concrete driveways, video surveillance and personalized key pad gated entry.

Additionally, within a three mile radius of the property, there exists only 7.21-square feet of rentable storage space, below the Fort Worth average. This does not take into account the 217 new residential lots to be constructed on an adjacent property to the immediate south of the facility.
