Moove In Self Storage Promotes Rich Clark to Regional Maintenance Manager
Local self storage company Moove In Self Storage (MISS) announces the promotion of Rich Clark to Regional Maintenance Manager. Rich originally joined the company in July 2013 as Maintenance Manager, and was promoted in November 2018.
Rich is responsible for property maintenance for the self storage facilities located in Pennsylvania and Maryland as well as the Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC) home office.
He assists on construction and renovation projects for Investment Real Estate Construction (IREC) as needed. Rich also assigns tasks to and supervises Chad Dravk, who was hired in November 2018 as Regional Maintenance Technician. Rich has worked with and managed Mr. Dravk at a previous job, making them a great team for MISS.
Rich works very closely with the property management team at MISS to keep the buildings and grounds impeccably maintained. This ensures our team can provide the best storage experience for our customers. He is responsible for the appearance and upkeep of both the interior and exterior at the properties as well as the rental offices. Tasks like weed control, door replacement, roof leaks and lock cuts are just some of the services he provides to keep the stores in good working order.
“Rich has been elevated to the manger level to lead the maintenance team. His role is vital to the collective upkeep of our growing portfolio in support of our customers,” states Jeff Murdorf, Director of Construction.
ABOUT RICH CLARK
He boasts more than 42 years of experience in commercial and residential construction, and has previously worked for the major construction firm Abel Construction Company located in York, PA, as well as another leading local construction company. He brings a wealth of knowledge in general carpentry and his experience enables him to diagnose and troubleshoot issues that arise at the properties quickly and effectively.
Rich has a degree in Masonry from York County School of Technology. He was born in York County, grew up in Red Lion and currently resides in Winterstown, PA with his wife Kris. They have three daughters. He enjoys hunting, both archery and rifle, and has bagged four Pennsylvania black bears and a numerous whitetail deer. A recent hobby he has grown an interest in, thanks to John Gilliland, is beekeeping.
