Investment Real Estate Management is pleased to announce that nine property managers have successfully achieved the Self-Storage Association (SSA) Certified Self Storage Manager (CSSM) Designation. This program advances the professionalism of the manager’s role by offering standardized education and promoting continuing education and practical experience through continued tenure in the industry. Requirements of the CSSM course include completion of one of three online CSSM tracks in the SSA’s Online University. Designees must agree to uphold the SSA Industry Code of Ethics as it applies to the facility manager’s role and remain in good standing as a self-storage manager. In addition, designees must attain continuing education credits every two years.
