Westy Self Storage today announced its support of the Summit College Club’s book drive. The drive will run until April 4. Westy Self Storage in Chatham is pleased to host this drive as a designated drop off location for book donations. In addition to serving as a collection site, Westy will also provide storage for the donations. Since 1934, the Summit College Club, a branch of the American Association of University Women, has held a large book sale to raise money for scholarships to help local girls attend college. All donated items will be sold at the 2012 book sale which will be held from April 17 through April 22 at The American Legion Hall located at 357 Elkwood Avenue, New Providence. All donated books, both paper and hard cover, must be in good condition and should be packed flat in liftable, stackable containers. DVDs may also be donated. Please help your community by dropping off a donation at Westy Self Storage in Chatham located at 15 River Road, one mile south of the Short Hills Mall. “Our book sale would not be possible without the help of so many volunteers especially Westy Self Storage,” said Anita Meritt, Chairman of Summit College Club Book Sale Committee. “Westy’s assistance by providing a drop off location and secure storage is invaluable to us. Hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
