WCC Group Acquires Portfolio from National Self-Storage REIT

Austin-based real estate investment firm, World Class Capital Group, LLC, announced today that it has acquired a five property self-storage portfolio from a publicly traded self-storage REIT. The portfolio includes over 2,500 self-storage units accounting for roughly 330,000 square feet with four facilities located in Houston and one in Indianapolis.

 

The five-property purchase represents the third self-storage portfolio acquisition for World Class Capital Group in less than a year. Through these portfolios, as well as two single-asset acquisitions during this same time period, WCCG has added 27 facilities comprised of over 15,000 units and 1.8 million square feet to their growing national platform.

World Class has planned an extensive capital improvement project for the self-storage facilities. The investment firm will also rebrand the properties under its Great Value Storage flagship brand (https://www.greatvaluestorage.com/), a wholly owned and operated subsidiary of WCCG.
