40 Firefighters Battle Blaze At Vancouver Storage Facility
Vancouver firefighters battled a fire at an Additional Self Storage facility, located at 11000 NE Burton Road, Monday evening after receiving calls about flames and heavy smoke pouring from several storage units. It took just over an hour and a half and a total of 40 firefighters to get the blaze under control.
Firefighters told reporters that they made every possible effort to save what stored items they could but that is a "tough task when putting out the fire is the priority." There is no word yet on what caused the fire, which remains under investigation. No injuries were reported.
