Capco Sponsors Salvation Army's Angel Trees
San Antonio, Texas-based Capco General Contracting has once again partnered with the Salvation Army to sponsor Angel Trees for the 2024 holiday season. Capco has been supporting the program’s mission of ensuring that every child in San Antonio wakes up to a gift under their tree on Christmas Day for many years.
According to Mirtha Archuleta, the company’s marketing and events coordinator, Capco has set a goal to sponsor 125 children, ranging from newborn to 12 years old, and the team is confident that they can achieve it with the continued support of its employees, clients, and friends within the self-storage industry.
If you’re interested in participating, contact Archuleta at marchuleta@capcogc.com for details about the angel(s) you can “adopt.” Participants are permitted to adopt more than one angel and specify a preference by age and/or gender. Each angel will be identified by name, age, and gender, along with their wish list items. While these items are only suggestions, please feel free to select the ones you believe will bring the most Christmas joy to your chosen angel(s)!
New, unwrapped gifts must be delivered no later than Dec. 2, 2024. Capco encourages and recommends ordering gifts from Amazon and having them delivered directly to the Capco office at 15316 Huebner Road, Building 3, San Antonio, TX 78248. When sending a gift through Amazon, please choose to add a gift receipt and add a note with the sender’s name and the angel’s number.
“I highly encourage you to forward the email confirmation(s) of your purchase, so that I can verify everything you ordered is delivered on time,” says Archuleta. “If you are local to the area, you also have the option to drop off the gift(s) during our office hours, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.”
Gift the Salvation Army will not accept include drinks, food, snacks, candy, and grocery store gift cards. They will gladly accept large or large perceived gift (i.e. computer tablets are small but perceived as a large item), medium gift, full outfit, shoes, and stocking stuffers.
