John Gilliland Receives Lifetime Achievement Award

John Gilliland, CEO of self-storage firm Investment Real Estate Group of Companies (IREGC), has been named the recipient of a 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award by Vistage, the world’s largest CEO coaching and peer advisory organization. The Lifetime Achievement Award honors long-standing members with a track record of bold decisions benefiting the company, community and beyond, and these leaders are a beacon to their peers.

“I am extremely honored to receive this recognition from Vistage,” Gilliland said. “This Lifetime Achievement Award is proof of the unwavering commitment, collective efforts and shared vision of every individual who has been on this journey alongside me since my ‘holy smokes’ moment of finding the self storage industry in 1997. Together, we have developed long-term relationships and remain committed to building a self storage portfolio of 100 properties at home in Central Pennsylvania and across the country.”

Throughout his career, Gilliland has made numerous philanthropic contributions supporting the greater York community through the Gilliland Family Foundation. He also supports his wife Denise’s charitable organization, Pink Power, which raises money for local breast cancer patients in need.
