PTI Launches ProEdge Bluetooth Smart Latch

The ProEdge smart latch integrates with PTI’s StorLogix Cloud for real-time access data, advanced security monitoring, and overlock capability. Its durable stainless-steel build ensures long battery life and all-weather reliability.

PTI’s ProEdge meets the growing demand in the self-storage industry for automated access control and security. It provides a fully automated rental process with easy Bluetooth smartphone access, ensuring consistent unit security. ProEdge provides a comprehensive latch solution that enhances tenant access and allows operators to gather data for efficient staffing during peak times and remote staffing at other times.

ProEdge is a universal smart latch suitable for new and existing doors, both corrugated and flat. It features a tamper-resistant design with an accelerometer that alerts operators and tenants of interference. The hardware is inaccessible from the outside and has a three-year battery life. Furthermore, its mesh network with built-in redundancies ensures range, reliability, and minimizes downtime.

ProEdge is available through PTI Security Systems starting in March.
