PTI Security System to install ProEdge at volta properties

PTI Security Systems, a part of ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions, has announced the finalization of a significant deal with Volta Global, a global real estate private equity firm with over two million square feet of self-storage in the US and Europe, that will see the installation of ProEdge smart latches initially in five different facilities managed by a subsidiary of Volta. The agreement, finalized in September, marks an important step forward in both companies' commitment to modernizing storage facility operations and enhancing tenant experiences.

The first installation is set to take place at a Volta property in San Antonio, Texas, in October, with subsequent installations scheduled for facilities across Alabama, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Texas. In total, over 3,500 individual units will benefit from the integration of ProEdge smart latches across these five initial properties.

The ProEdge smart latch boasts a three-year battery life, and its integration with the StorLogix Cloud platform enables operators to monitor battery usage centrally, significantly reducing the time spent on infrastructure maintenance.
