Self Storage Association Asia Awards 2023

The Asia-Pacific self-storage industry continues to grow, fueled by an increase in consumerism and the expansion of e-commerce. A growing population, combined with small living quarters, has also made self storage a necessity in these regions. In fact, market size in terms of lettable area is expected to grow from 27.91 million square feet in 2023 to 40.75 million square feet by 2028, at a CAGR of 7.86% during the forecast period (2023-2028).

While the market is growing at considerably different rates depending on the country, Self Storage Association Asia (SSAA) was able to recognize various countries for their efforts in the industry at the Self Storage Awards Asia 2023. Categories included multi-site operation store of the year, independent store of the year, and valet storage of the year. The SSAA also awarded facilities based on marketing, management, innovation, and social responsibility.
