SteelBlue Announces New Products, New Hire
SteelBlue Building Components LLC, a manufacturer of self-storage roll-up doors and hallway systems, recently announced new product offerings. SteelBlue’s new 9530 Series roll-up door, with panels that are seamed together, was designed for easy installation and operation.
Noteworthy features include:
- A shorter door guide
- Wear strips
- Symmetrical headstop
- Round drum
- A tensioning device that requires no special tools
- The company’s 9530 Series roll-up door comes in 26-gauge, grade-80, and pre-painted steel in a variety of colors. SteelBlue is also developing a new, 14-by-14 door designed for vehicle storage units and enhancing its online customer portal.
In other news, SteelBlue has hired Thomas Vaughn, who as more than 20 years of manufacturing experience, as general manager of operations.
“His expertise will be crucial as we commission three new pieces of roll-form equipment, which will vastly improve our lead times, consistency in our products, and add new capacity to keep pace with our ever-growing company,” said Rich Saginaw, CEO and president of SteelBlue.
