Storable Defends Platform Integrity & Fair Access Standards Following Court Ruling
Storable, the leading property management software for specialty real estate, acknowledges the Texas Business Court's temporary injunction requiring the company to restore SafeLease's access to pre-existing customer data through Storable's platforms. This interim measure, pending the trial, does not represent a final determination on the merits of the case.
It’s important to note that, pursuant to the ruling, this restored access applies only to existing Safelease customers. SafeLease is not permitted to use Storable’s platforms to onboard any new customers while we continue to pursue legal resolution.
"Our primary obligation remains protecting the interests of our self-storage operators who rely on our platform daily to run their businesses," said Chuck Gordon, CEO of Storable. "While we respect the court's decision during this interim ruling, we remain committed to ensuring all integration partners adhere to consistent standards that protect customer data and maintain platform performance."
Storable's Ongoing Commitment:
- Enforcing Platform Terms of Service: Storable will continue working to ensure all integration partners follow standardized API access protocols designed to protect customer data and maintain system stability. These measures are applied consistently to all third-party vendors without exception.
- Upholding Level Playing Field: Storable has offered SafeLease API access terms provided to similarly situated vendors. The company believes in fostering fair competition while maintaining consistent standards for all integration partners.
- Providing Stable, Secure Platforms: Storable's platforms remain the industry standard, offering unmatched value and efficiency to self-storage operators. The temporary injunction will not impact customers' ability to use Storable's software or integrate with preferred vendors.
- Supporting Customers Through Change: Storable's team remains ready to assist customers with any questions regarding platform access and will continue providing exceptional support to help navigate any changes.
Storable remains open to collaborating with all vendors who share our commitment to data privacy, security, and compliance. The company already has filed its notice of appeal as well as other objections to the order, and will continue to keep customers informed of significant developments.
