Talk about making an entrance!
When StorCo Storage celebrated the grand opening of its latest self-storage facility at 500 N Service Rd in St. Peters, Missouri, the company had a special guest on hand: The TailGator, a monster truck that rolled over several cars bearing the competitions' flags, crushing them in the process. It was a marketing maneuver that had the crowd cheering.
The Investa Group also weighed in on social media, posting "We're thankful to everyone in the community who came out to support us and shared in this special moment! The ribbon-cutting ceremony set the stage for an afternoon filled with excitement. The Monster Truck car smash show was a hit with all ages!"
StorCo operates two other self-storage locations in O'Fallon, Missouri and Wood River, Illinois. This location comprises 67,000 square feet and boasts 365 units. StorCo used a $3 million CPACE loan to help build the new location, which includes environmental enhancements that align with PACE Equity’s low-carbon design specifications. The facility is expected to save 3,985 metric tons of carbon and 44% of electricity costs compared to a building constructed at baseline code.
